Statement of Service:

Megan started her professional career with a seven month internship with Abundance as an Investment Intern. During her internship, she researched and analyzed mutual funds and exchange-traded funds for the due diligence process. Megan was required to present her due diligence report to the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Abundance, Megan worked as an Actuarial Intern with Prudential Financial. While employed there, she worked on multiple projects dealing with the annuity valuation process. She performed Excel calculations from documented assumptions to create the tax reserve analysis portion for the reserve spreadsheet, researched and explained large gains and losses for multiple annuity accounts and performed analysis on thousands of annuity accounts to detect irregularities from month to month. Upon completion of the internship Megan had the opportunity to present her findings to an Actuarial Committee comprised of senior level managers.

Megan joined the Abundance Team in December 2009 as a Financial Officer. She is responsible for reviewing bank accounts and performing monthly reconciliations, providing monthly financial reports to the Executive Management team including; Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and a Memorized Transaction Report. Megan is also the liaison between the organization and our payroll vendor. In addition to her responsibilities as a Financial Officer, Megan is also a Compliance Officer for the organization.
